In developing a successor to Atama's most popular kimonos, the mundial model #7, Atama took feedback from it's customers and determined that the only improvement needed was a facelift.

The Mundial Model #9 is the same material and cut as the Mundial Model #7. The only difference is the color scheme of the embroidery. This kimono is made from  "Carioca Weave" material, has no seam on the back, and has no "skirt", it is one piece construction.  

Additionally, the collar and pants are made from "rip stop" material. This is reinforced material to give greater strength and tear resistance in a lighter material.  Includes all embroidery/patches as pictured.  

Perfect for training or competition. Tapered body and sleeves to leave less for your opponent to grab and cut roomy in the shoulders for mobility.

im 5'9" and 165lbs.  the A2 fit me perfectly, both pants and gi top.  the gi top is super sturdy and looks good.  only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5, is because it seems a little tight at the armpit and the chest maybe an inch or two big (wide?)  i do not have this problem with my vulkan pro light A2.

the pants are really light and rip stop apparently, ill have to roll and wash these more to see how they last because they seem REALLY thin... but of rip stop material..

anyways, this gi is awesome, i just wish the gi top had maybe a half inch or an inch more "play" or room under the armpit and the chest was an inch or two shorter.

other than that, the gi is pretty good.
